AI tools for builders in Liverpool, Wirral and Cheshire
Quotes out faster, clients kept in the loop.
Builders lose evenings to pricing jobs from drawings and days to chasing trades. We build AI tools that turn plans into quotes and take-offs, keep the programme straight and send clients progress updates with photos.
(01) Overview
AI tools for builders, explained.
Building firms spend a surprising share of the week on work that is not building: pricing jobs from drawings, ordering materials, juggling trades and keeping homeowners informed. AI tools for builders take on that admin, so quotes go out sooner and the programme stays on track.
The tools work from the documents and photos you already have: architects' drawings, specifications, site photos and voice notes. You keep control of the prices and the decisions, and the tools do the reading, the lists and the messages.
(02) The admin problem
The admin that slows builders down.
- Problem 01
Pricing from drawings takes evenings. Every extension or refurb means measuring off plans, building a materials list and pricing it up, often for work you will not win.
- Problem 02
Subcontractors on different timetables. Plasterers, sparks and plumbers each need the site ready at the right moment. One delay ripples through the programme and the phone calls start.
- Problem 03
Clients want to know what is happening. Homeowners living around a build ask for updates daily. Answering every text and call pulls you off the tools.
- Problem 04
Variations get lost. Extra work agreed on site is not always written down, so it is hard to price and harder to get paid for at the end.

(04) Worked example
How the tools work together for builders.
This is an example. It shows how the tools could work together for a typical business. It is not a real customer or a case study.
For example, a small building firm in Heswall wins a single-storey extension. The architect's drawings go into the quote tool, which drafts a staged price and a materials list. The builder checks the rates, adjusts the groundworks figure and sends the quote the same evening.
Once the job starts, the board shows the plasterer is booked two days before the first fix electrics are due to finish, so the builder moves the date before anyone turns up. Each Friday the client gets three photos and a short update. When the client asks for an extra socket run, a voice note on site becomes a variation they approve by text.
(05) Questions
AI tools for builders: questions.
Can AI really price a building job from drawings?+
It can do the slow part: reading the drawings, measuring the areas and listing the materials and stages. You then apply your own rates and judgement. Every draft quote is checked by you before it goes to a client.
How do subcontractors receive their messages?+
By text or WhatsApp, with the date, the address and what needs to be ready. When they confirm, the job board updates, so you can see who is booked without ringing round.
Will clients still want to speak to me?+
Yes, and they should. Weekly photo updates mean fewer anxious calls, so the conversations you do have are about decisions rather than whether anyone turned up today.
Can the tools handle extras agreed on site?+
Yes. A voice note on site becomes a priced variation that the client approves by text, so extra work is agreed in writing before it is done.
